mortgage with 2 names on

Hi, i have a joint mortgage but i want to get the other name removed on it i have 3 years left on my mortgage. can you advise me what i need to do and will there be any changes or extra charges to this.

To request the removal of one party from a mortgage you would both need to write to us (separately-and signed individually) to the following address; 

BOI Mortgages 
New Century House, 
Mayor Street Lower,
IFSC,
Dublin 1. 

Your letter should request the removal of second named person, and second named person should also write stating that they wish to be removed. Once these are received we will contact you to proceed. I hope this helps and please let us know if there is anything else we can help with.
