Hey,just wondering who you all use for broadband,we currently use upc, and it's not great at the moment, can never properly use wifi on our phones. Does anyone use sky or eir? How do you find them. We just contacted eir about a bundle deal and the girl said that we would get 30mb speed,is this good?

Get a wifi router and turn off the inbuilt one in the UPC modem. You are not going to get similar speeds with any other provider - UPCs broadband is vastly superior but their wifi is crap.

Whatever Eir can offer you is the most anyone else can offer you on that line. 30mbit is 1/8th of the speed of UPCs entry level product and 1/12th of the premium one.

Would you recommend any particular wifi router and also where to get this (sorry I know nothing about this stuff).

The TPLink Archer seems to get good reviews at the low end; the ASUS RT66 still seems to be the gold standard though.
