Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That's not even a penalty. Clueless.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,110 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

That is never a penalty never mind a yellow card. Connacht screwed over there.

Feel sorry for O'Leary. But fair enough. He's wrecked anyway.

He was about to be subbed wasn't he...

That's fine it was around the shoulder. Awful decision. And the yellow to the number 10 has ended this game and possibly gifted ulster a bonus point

Would have been a team yellow for the one Marshall bought at the ruck anyway, one would assume.

No way a yellow. I'd argue not even a penalty.

They both agreed it was high - careless but high. The yellow was for persistent fouling which I think is fair enough

    Bottled. That was a yellow.

No yellow there - did he say it was because he'd just given them one?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,222 ✭✭✭crisco10

Yeah aki would have gotten a yellow for not rolling away I think. Connacht would have preferred oleary getting yellow than him. Fairly marginal penalty tho.

    Now 13...

You're allowed to tackle around the shoulder. It was nowhere near the neck.

If Ulster don't score now Connacht should be awarded the win.

    Poor auld Connacht

    This is pathetic refereeing.

All the offences by ulster in 1st half and no cards and now handing them out like confetti in last 3 minutes.

    FFS

    Valiant play from the Westermen

    Outrageous defending

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Fabulous Connacht defence yet again. Incredible stuff.

    Ulster don't deserve the BP.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,222 ✭✭✭crisco10

Great defence from connacht. But ulster seemed scared to look for the space.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Why the hell didn't Marshall send that 50m down the field rather than the tame chip box kick?

Great stuff from Connacht. Leinster appreciate it.

    Heroic steal by Henshaw.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,822 ✭✭✭Jump_In_Jack

That rip by Henshaw was amazing, and to zip a pass out for an attack with 2 men down is brilliant to watch.

    That's just awful From Ulster.

Crap decision making at the base and crap execution. Theyve the best collection of backs in Ireland and refuse to spin it wide even when they have a two man advantage. Don't deserve a bonus point from this game.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,110 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Paul Marshall is absolutely rubbish. He is too slow and it allowed Connacht to reset there between every phase. Rubbish.

    Clock against ulster

    Connacht gonna really miss Robbie

Ah Ulster ye had three men over and screwed it up!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,222 ✭✭✭crisco10

He's now their 10! Super rob!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,416 ✭✭✭Dave_The_Sheep

Ah, Ulster. Turnover ball inside the opposition 22, two men up and you still can't get it over.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,521 ✭✭✭✭mansize

    Ulster have been very underwhelming

  • Registered Users Posts: 184 ✭✭Redsock

Ulster are brainless. They seem to be trying to play an Ireland type game but without the players to do it to any great effect. I'm an ulster man but have no problem recognising that despite tonight (injuries, 6 day turnaround) the men from the west are much better than us.

I think they should look at their themselves rather than the clock for their failure to score. As said by others, how can this set of backs not bag some tries. Or.....you have to ask, are they all they are cracked up to be ?

Aki in the thick of it again
