Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The Cass feeling sorry for Ray thing is confusing. It's been going on for two episodes and then he decides to set up a poker tournament to apologise to Ray. Did Ray even turn up? Cass was saying 'keep smiling and pretend you're enjoying yourself. Some biscuits?' I honestly hadn't a clue what was going on there tbh.

I am completely lost with all of the stories concering the antiques on the show. Pointless, boring, repetitive and dreary. Why the fook are they given air time?

Cass coming up with the idea of men's sheds like it has never thought of before. Haven't the Men's Sheds been around for a few years now.
Also, what was in those crates at the reception desk of the Community Centre that Paulie moved out to his car, are they significant or just a lead up to introducing Paulie to Chawlie?
    Sorry, I mean Ciaran.

What a bizarre episode all these little non story's, going where??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,337 ✭✭✭✭monkey9

Right, where exactly is The Station. I always thought it was across the road from McCoy's, but aparently you need to drive there.

And what's the new place in the Ballantyne where Tommy and Debbie always are? The hotel used to be old fashioned, suddenly it looks like the Pod.

The Ballantyne seems to have over 200 rooms, seen as Tommy was asked to fix the shower in room 202.

But the Main thing is, immersion is fixed, shower in room 202 is fixed and those blasted crates have been moved :)

The empty crates, with nothing in them, wrapped in clingfilm, were going where exactly??
I'm dying to see who love/hates cousin is.
It's a very slow intro to a new character, are there new writers? We are usually told their background in the first episode.

Why did Charlie come into the centre, say "is this the Carrigstown Historical Society" and then leave?

Sean got the bad news about the interview, then went off and got a new hairstyle before meeting Doug for the drink.

The scene with Deegan - over react much? That goes for both Sean and Deegan

"Jackie has some eco friendly ideas, like asking guests if they need there towels washed everyday" like they have been doing in every hotel for the last 15 years - very innovative, Jackie!

    Oh dear.

Pity he hasn't got a key to Room 101 - I reckon that's where all the decent scripts went!

What's the Love Hate guy up to? He doesn't know a single person in Carrigstown and yet he's found himself a job there and is moving into the area.

That's the pull of Carrigstown. One day, you go for a pint and by the following week you're already living and working there.

Again, what's the point of Greasy and 40 coats and their 'will he won't he' get employed?

Yeah when did he become so posh? He used to be a pyjama wearing skanger in the early days of Fair City.

If Fair City was rebranded the Twilight Zone it would make perfect sense

They have to have had a checkered past followed by a warm, father and son relationship before they shock us all by revealing that Rose is Greasy's mother.

Did anyone else cop the mistake made lastnight in the scene between Niamh and Sash just after the break? Niamh was asking had they any extra jobs in The Station but she stumbled: "If there are any extra jobs in the eh eh Sta. The Station", and that got through post production?? Is there even a post production or do they just throw a few scenes into a blender and hope for the best..

I would've have wasted another take on that. It was just normal conversation. May have even added to the scene.
