No, I think, like many on here, that Ciaran is somehow involved with Cathal Spillane, and has Katie somewhere hidden until such time Flynn has to face his maker/justice. Oisin could become the scapegoat, however. Charlitte not making his case stronger. He will have to resort to extreme measures to prove his innocence after the Jane affair. Pauldy should just cop on as to his son's perverse streak. No wonder Nicola booted it so fast!!

Ciaran could well be working for Cathal or may have nothing to do with Cathal. It depends on Cathal's role in it. It seems for the moment anyway that Cathal just appeared in it as a guest for a distraction. If he was in it for longer, he could mess with the O'Briens' heads and would know about the affair and would pop up from time to time in the hotel telling Debbie he knows of her affair. Guessing who could be involved in Katy's disappearance:

Debbie: she certainly has the motive to silence her. However it is very unlikely that she killed or kidnapped her own daughter.
Tommy: Tommy equally has the motive but it is very unlikely that he has anything to do with it either. Besides, both Tommy and Debbie were in the hotel having their affair when Katy disappeared.
Oisin: He was mainly playing pranks on Jane and the way he didn't fight back or flee when Jane caught him shows whatever else he may be, he is not capable of murder or kidnap. It is not Oisin.
Charlotte and Rachel: Definitely not.
Cathal: you never know with him. Personally he had nothing to do with it but could work through other people. He may merely be thrown in as a distraction as well though.
Emmett: Could Emmett hide her and follow her instructions to not let on where she is? Possible, but highly unlikely given his reactions to events so far.
Ciaran: all the signs point to him. He is mysterious, offers his help too much and Emmett seems to be his only friend. Given his background as a Love/Hate star, it is very possible that he is a criminal. Could be working for Cathal and be Cathal's brother or cousin even if Cathal is not a mere distraction.
Jane's boyfriend that Charlotte knew: an outside chance is this guy. From what Charlotte said, he is a nasty piece of work and may be the dark horse.
Heather: Real outside chance of course, but anything is possible with Heather!

I have a feeling that the real killer/kidnapper of Katy will make a move on Jane next. That would imply Ciaran or the boyfriend Charlotte knows. Just as Jane is convinced it is Oisin, she then gets into the clutches of the real guy and narrowly escapes. Ciaran is the most likely though and a date between him and Jane could be the moment where his real side is revealed.

And also Stella is a suspect and her motive would be to silence Katy before she feared details of her criminal gang past were going to be made public. She could have gathered some of her former pals to confront Katy meaning to scare here but maybe they went too far and killed her so they had to back each other up with fake alibis. Remember Stella was there that night too and could easily have waited for Katy.

I forgot her. She could well be a suspect too. She could also be linked to Cathal and Flynn. Perhaps, Cathal's daughter even? Stella was dismissed early too and may have more to do with things than is being let on. She, Ciaran and Cathal could all be involved for all we know.

We will just have to wait and see what happens. There will be a lot of false flags and it could end up possible that if Cathal is behind it, thee is more than one involved. Stella and Ciaran could both be agents of Cathal.
