Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wow, this is an interesting piece. I kind of like that Deegan's sole purpose is to arrive on the scene of a crime/scuffle/argument/wheelbarrow assault/pissing in the street occurence at precisely the right moment!

    Who or what is Tommy?

I think that Robbie's mother is still alive, and asked Colin to lie for her.

I think it is Rose so Robbie is Eoghan's half brother

Sash looked very orange tonight, she needs to lay off Kerri Anne's fake tan

You do realise you are on a FC thread! It mentions FC's favourite detective, my post on the link mentioned a character who has a disdain of people overthrowing wheelbarrows.

    Hmmmm!

I forgot about that aspect of this story - I was thinking more of the
    Carol/Robbie being half brother/sister
, because in true FC form they would HAVE to have the same father

Where or what is Mallow anyway? Is it some where down the country?

Mallow is in Cork, pretty big town, I think it's a nice place about 30/40 mins drive from Cork city.

Thanks to whoever posted the 1997 special, I found this Christmas special from 1996 including the ad break! It really makes me miss all the old characters like Hannah and Rita (pre-bell). And Eunice! Even though she was so annoying, she was one of the best characters ever. This was when Greyface actually had a purpose on the show. Even though it makes me laugh to say it, FC is so controlled now. By RTE powers I mean, not by the writers.

    Sure it wasn't a "Missing Hearing " ad ? :D

Edit - just watched it ....no don't think so but can see why you thought it was her.

    VERY like her alright.

LOL at poor Claaaaar on an early morning call to Hong Kong yesterday - if anyone in the FC had bothered to check HK and China is in the middle of the Dragon Boat Festival and all markets and offices are closed until Monday.

....but Claaaaar knew that before he started shouting down the phone yeah???

BTW (and apologies if someone else has beaten me to it) but isn't Claaaaar the bould Father Damo from Craggy Island????

The actors name is Tommy, he's saying he had to get away from himself hence turned to drink and drugs.

I could be wrong about this but over the last few years Fair City have tried to have the climax of a story around there anniversary at the end of September.
From what I remember these stories generally started in mid April to early May so we could have a Summer of looking for Katie!
