Current Weather Conditions - April 2016

Very wet and miserably cold at Grange after a largely dry and sunny start! But like the radio said, do not get fooled by the dry weather!

Up to 17:00 on the 8th, here are my April statistics

Mean temperature: 7.4c (-0.8c below the LTA) (typical for 2015 - 2015 had most months with -0.8c below the LTA here)
Rainfall: 53.9mm (137% of the LTA)
Sunshine: 25 hours (17% of the LTA) (at least it has risen significantly since my last post of monthly statistics)

April 2016 is most likely to be my wettest April on record if it continues this unsettled theme.

4.3C here near Tralee and just have a slow moving shower over us atm giving a total so far since midnight of 7.6mm.

A big change since 5, over a half an hour and counting of hail, it is white everywhere.

Showers were actually scarce here near Tralee in the afternoon and it remained sunny and calm and feeling quite pleasant even though it just got up to 8.1C briefly.
