When I'm back at the PC I'll edit this post to give full details.
I did toy with the idea of an OW swimming target but I'll go with the obvious progression of 1,000m climbing through running

So far I've scratched my head at the point of these "Chapter" threads. From the get go the points scoring system seemed very convoluted and the overall personal challenge overly complicated.

This April 1,000m run/climb challenge is nice and easy to understand, keep it simple, will give this a shot, thanks G&R ;)

Well if your maths head is confused then it must be!

Overall simple really. Pick any goal(s) and call out how much time you will spend at each one. If you saw the Gdrive tracker it would be self explanatory.

Just a spin off from the SBR where only SBR kms count. Zico might run 150km in 10 hours. Bob spends 12 hours running and gets 120km.

I won't go over the scoring, it is complicated but the ethos is this:
Call out a goal and hit it, points. Do better, more points. Do better than others sharing your goal, more points. Complete the 1,000m challenge more points again.

Just something different. We will do a new chapter each month. Best effort in the "Chapter Goal" picks the following chapter goal.

Last month the Chapter goal was climb 3,000m total. G&R did 6,000m+, way more than everyone and as such can call out whatever goal he likes for this chapter.

Well this month didn't go anywhere near as planned, week off training with a head cold didn't help but neither did not getting on the bike bar April 1st. Plus side I started May off well today with my first 10k since Belfast last year.

Well done all. Plenty of goals hit in April. Neady83 still leads but G&R is fast catching.

May thread will be up soon. My pick hahahaha

The gdrive file is ready to put in May goals so work away.

    Shotgun --- 75
    SB8 ---- 23

I was a bit late to the party. Added some hiking in Donegal on Saturday to finally hit all my targets for the month. Thanks for doing up the scores Mike.

Which big hill were you running up Shotgun?

Eh open water swimming you say?
