HI Can anyone tell me how the builder prices a new build,
Is it bottom floor €1,000 SQM and First Floor €1,000 SQM and then this is added together?
    Thanks

Your view is a very simplistic view on the pricing process.

They look at the drawings. Price the materials. Use the construction details in order to quantify materials used.

The client provides engineering and construction drawings for th builder to price. Some clients engage a QS so that a bill of quantities can be prepared for the builder to price from.

I know im a bit green at this, im just trying to understand, If I have a home that I want to build and its 1,000 down stairs and 1,000 sqm up stairs, is it just the 1,000 sqm down stairs that the builder takes in to account or both
