South Dublin based guitarist with many years experience looking to start a quality blues band. I'm not looking for us to be rock stars or anything, I understand people have jobs and families. I just want to get together with enthusiastic, like minded people, play some quality music and start gigging as soon as possible, but most importantly, have fun. Initial requirement is vocal, bass, drums, harmonica, keys. Additional instrumentalists also welcome to get in contact. We want to evoke an authentic Chicago blues sound. We want to recreate the groove of the juke joint dance halls... Lively, jazz tinged, rocking blues. We're aiming at band members in the 30/40/50 age group, but if you think you have the chops, no matter what age, then please get in touch. N.B. This is a 'START UP'. You will NOT get paid for this initially. If it's successful, that may change, but we will need everybody involved to contribute to that success. (The amount of people that think they can earn a 'wage' from this is unbelievable... Please, be realistic before contacting...) We're only interested in equally proactive musicians. No freeloaders, timewasters, chancers, etc... Please... Hope to hear from you ASAP. Keep it live.
