Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can see United winning today. Type of team (midtable, nothing to play for) we've done well against this season :P

Super football from Lingard and Martial. Should have been a corner though.

Blind does some absolutely daft things at times. There was no need to be giving the ball away there.

    Smalling, wtf.

Everton the better team so far. Utd don't look like a team chasing a CL place.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,689 ✭✭✭sky88

Lingard in the middle and mata on the right just makes no sense whatsoever

  • Corner from blind....fail

  • Smalling doing a good job keeping lukaku quite so far

Sometimes Martial takes that one touch too many. He just have just put his boot through it.

Just saw a replay there.. did Stones come through Martial to make that tackle ? Could have been a pen...?

Carrick is having a very poor game

  • Just shoot fs

Not having a go here Mick but it annoys me how Smalling is the one that gets the credit when Blind has been making him look like a fool the entire first half. Just because it's more interceptions and smart play it doesn't look as impressive.

United's midfield is non existent. Time for the big fella.

How can LVG watch that first half and not see that? He has to make a swap. No creativity, no composure from either side. United win if he makes that swap.

No shots on target from either of them :(

=(:-) Me? I know who I am. I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude (-:)=

Memphis and Fellaini for Lingard/Mata and Carrick/Schneid. The players coming on are more important than anyone who'd come off as depressing as that is.

Nothing like a hard one in the mouth.

I'd swap Mata and Lingard for 15 mins first to see how it goes. Then bring on Mephis and Fellaini on 60 if there is no change.

Do people not watch Utd anymore? 26 posts for the first half.

I'd like to see Herrera brought on into CM for the 2nd half, there's a spark and some urgency needed in the middle to get our attackers off and running. The chances of him being brought on though? I'm not holding much hope, definitely think he's gone in the Summer unless LVG goes first.

Its hard to watch an LVG team.

Carrick has been poor. Morgan needs to be allowed to do more than just defend.

Firstly, I wouldn't be using posts on an Irish internet forum as a barometer. Secondly, the match has been unimaginably ****. No shots on target from either team, no moments of danger, no controversial decisions. Just overall crap from both.

Incredibly s**t half. From both sides that is. I honestly feel sorry for people who travelled down to watch that. Absolutely nothing happening

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

I always find it interesting how.....nah, who am I kidding, that was remarkably uninteresting. Everton trying to isolate Lukaku 1 vs 1 with Man Utd centre backs to minimal success, Man Utd relying far too heavily on Martial to make something happen.

Why not use it? Utd match threads where always busier in their heyday and this is not the first poor to watch game under LVG hence so few posters which would also suggest that fewer people are watching them.

Rojo must have been caught smoking in the jacks at half-time.

  • Rojo off

    Mensah on

Injury? Surely not tactical. Lingaard off fs

Rojo hasn't been great in this game, he was blasting shots and being sloppy in possession, deserved to come off IMO.

  • ****ing shocking from carrick

Carrick is just so s**t now

This is set up for Everton to snatch a goal from a half chance and United won't be able to fashion a recovery.

It's so obvious, why will he not change!!!!!

What a snoozefest of a game. Too very average teams playing with little or no confidence.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,161 ✭✭✭Cypher_sounds

Rojo lost the ball 15 times in that half, absolute poison.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,595 ✭✭✭✭Trigger
