HKC 8/12 line fault help

Hi there I have an alarm that used to send texts but since eircom stopped it I want to remove the DMC as it keeps showing line fault as I removed the line from it when I put in a GSM unit. I tried turning off line monitor. Still have line fault. Any help would be great. Have all codes. Thanks
