Just wondering did anyone ever hear of the tory island shorthorn?
There are a number of articles online from the late 90's and early 2000's but nothing since
Looking for further info on the breed.
    Are they still in existance?

Mod Note- Copied from F&F in the hopes of more info.

I know a few of the Islanders.

I'll ask, and get back to you if I find anything out.

Finally got hold of one of the Islanders.

I'm reliably informed that there are currently no cows, shorthorn or otherwise, on Tory.

I have no idea where else you might find "Tory" shorthorns.
    Sorry.

Thanks for your help, it was a long shot, the articles were from the late 90's, they were a unique to Tory Island for centuries, another part of our heritage lost.
