Be careful with the Japanese graphics,they are an inherent part of operating systems and not like changing a radio maybe have a look at a Japanese one here first to see if it's practical to operate some options.

Have you looked into what could be saved by importing from Japan ? I would be curious if there is value in going through the extra hassle.
