The writing is so lazy these days. Alan getting drunk on air (again with Rosie Witter) was featured in Mid Morning Matters, and the giving away of cheap advertising, in the name of charity, was done by Alan in his first Comic Relief over 25 years ago. Running out of ideas big time with this.

Wouldn't it be great if they reintroduced Jed Maxwell, maybe have him as a member of the audience Alan clocks him and goes into shock mumbling & flustering live on air whilst all the time Jed is there staring at him, Alan then hides behind Lyn and demands she gets security to escort "that mentalist" out of the studio:p

i think it would be hilarious

*what'd do you reckon should i email BBC Comedy my suggestion?

This Time has been patchy from the start but still has some classics. Rescuing the terrorists, double tap on the hostages. Brilliant. Trying to open the cocktail shaker as well.

The little Nazi salute was another highlight, although the glove slap in Alpha Papa was better.

The stuff with Jenny and her boyfriend was cringe inducing, was that supposed to be funny? You can tell its a new group of writers, they dont seem to get it sometimes. I like the little swipes he's constantly taking at Simon and how uncomfortable Simon seems on television though.

and did you catch at the start the jimmy savile reference "hows about that" and then he instantly realises what he did:pac:

While I think the series on the whole has been so-so, I really enjoyed his 'acting' at the end of the latest episode. "Don't overthink it".

Funniest segment from the whole show apart from Martin Brennan in my opinion.

Yep. Picked up a few cracking seats, but I was ready from before 10am this morning. I assume they sold out fair quick.

Yeah I got 4 tickets this morning in row E. Ticketmaster had a queuing system in place for the pre-sale and was telling me a few thousand were ahead of me.

I think the MCD presale is still active if you click on the presale link in this twitter post

Not sure what seats are remaining

Edit: there were seats available just now

Do you get a free wagon wheel, and does the ticket cost end in 0.99 and if so is it just pricing rhetoric?
