Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Fabulous cross from Di Maria

A child could of caught that ball Joe
Why push it so weakly to the side, so poor.

Only reason I can think was he thought Ibra was about to get a touch. No excuse still poor.

Close by Ibra, Cavani should bury that.

    Ibra playing well.

Hart's two mistakes are costing his team badly, he is so prone to it.
He can not think under pressure.

Another let off for City off the bar. Could be 5-1 at least.

Joe Hart is like a rabbit in the headlights in this 2nd half. His days must be numbered with Guardiola on the way .

PSG need to get take advantage of this pressure and get at least one more. Tie is still finely balanced as it stands.

    Braindead from Navas

Aguero was in so much space and Navas shoots into the side netting

All came from Di Maria trying to dribble instead of pass.

Jammy goal really but psg have sat back since they took the lead

The standard of this game is atrocious for a Champion's League quarter final, especially when you see the money that both clubs have spent.

City's name is on the trophy here. Wtf is he on? :pac:

Ah here, this game's a joke. Can I play? Another howler. I don't how City are drawing this game but they are.

Ah come on, its pretty comical, nothing to do with bitterness.

    Veratti a huge miss.

PSG looking all out of ideas now . Don't think any other teams left in the CL will be quaking in their boots if they draw either of these two in the next round .

Busquets, Valdes and Thiago have all been caught like that. Pep made a point of praising Valdes and Thiago when they persisted in playing the same way even after making a serious blunder.

Yes but those are all proven excellent ball playing players. Indeed Busquets is described as the best 1 touch player on the planet. Fernando is an out and out destroyer, Pep has never had an out and out destroyer as his starting single pivot.

Double pivot wtf ? When did people start using these stupid terminologies.

    Silva's been sh!te so far.

You're right, that should say single pivot. As with his mentor, Johan Cruyff, Guardiola is not particularly favourable towards a double pivot, using it only when the situation particularly calls for it. Which makes sense given the system in which he grew up which favours the 4-3-3 and the 3-4-3 to an extent.

Game has fizzled out, both sides afraid to fúck it up (again)

About Time is starting over on RTE 1 soon. This game is over, has been since the Man City equaliser.

Edit: Or better yet, What are you eating? on RTE One +1 has just started.

Matuidi has been awful tonight, same with Di Maria and a few others.

City in with a real shout of getting through, hopefully they rest a few players now in the league to focus fully on it :) What does Pellegrini care about league position when he is on the way out. Go for the trophy Manuel!!

Very good result for City, considering they could have conceded 4 or 5.

Unbelievable how lifeless the game was after Man City's second goal.

I expect the return leg will be a bit of a free for all so I don't think the away goals will matter that much.

PSG look far too relaxed when in posession of the ball and you feel they could be dispossessed at any moment when they play the ball around at the back and in midfield.
