Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

ACL experiences

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of tearing ACL for a second time?

I originally tore my ACL and menisus (can't remember what exactly) 5 years ago. Naturally have hyperextended knees, surgeon had said it was just a matter of time before it did happen originally. Went, had surgery, was never really called in for a follow up. Just had surgery, met with physio that day and off I went.

I've had trouble with that knee since, clicking, feels like it slides out of place and clicks back in... But nothing too bothersome.

Fell St. Stephen's night and haven't been able to fully extend my knee since without severe pain, last week twisted on knee during work and pain is equivalent to what it was pre-surgery 5 years ago. Booked in with physio tonight to see if anything can be done, and hoping it's not another tear.

If you had an ACL tear, in the same knee, how did you get on with recovery? Or have you just had twinges like the above post surgery, has physio helped?
