2020 and beyond targets

will be interesting to see what the new government (whoever it is!!!) will do regarding the 2020 and beyond targets, no doubt the blame will be shifted back to previous regimes to both those who signed up to the targets and those who came afterwards for not putting adequate planning in place to meet the targets

certainly looks like damage limitation at this stage to minimize fines, what does everyone think the best way is to do this?

Good article, buts it's been said so many times before

At the recent energy show SEAI launched the document ; Ireland’s Energy Targets - Progress, Ambition & Impacts (please note in smallest of writing on the front page "Summary for Policy-makers")

It's poor that in 2016 that this is issued when we are really struggling to meet our targets and facing huge fines. As a nation we have been fairly blind to the potential cost of not achieving these 'legally binding' targets. Now will the EU fine use along with every other country that doesn't make the targets ...... We will have to wait and see

Could be a red line issue for who ever is in power come 2020
