Thinking Barkley to Milner myself.
Personally I wouldn't take a -4. You might not get the returns to justify it.

Hard to see who would replace him though. Can and Henderson are injured, so can see Milner starting all games, hes mad fit too.

reading into Martinez quotes journalists are speculating (probably correctly ) that they won't be risked with the Derby and Fa cup semi in the next 7 days

Conflicted this morning. All signs point to Lukaku being rested, and even if he plays in the derby you wouldn't fancy a great haul.

With a FT I can do Lukaku -> Rashford, but my priority this week was a United defender. So for -4 I can do Williams & Lukaku -> Fosu-Mensah & Rashford.

That in itself seems like a good choice, but it leaves me the dual-headache of:

1) Benching one of Eriksen, Mahrez, or Kane this week
2) Needing another -4 to field a full XI in GW35

Should I do it?

If I were you I'd forget about DGW34 and play like if it was a "normal" GW. Why don't you just get a United def and bench Lukaku such that you play your Spurs/Leicester players?

That may be the most sensible option (though I'd still be looking at -4 next week). It's just United's fixtures are almost perfect on paper, it makes Rashford very tempting. Though Rooney's return and the FA Cup semi are worries...

This is my theory too.... Firminio has looked rusty since injury return so I think he'll start against Bournemouth and be given plenty of time to de-rust himself

I reckon Sturridge and Ojo start v Bournemouth and Firmino and Origi start v Everton. Coutinho and Milner the safest options.

Lukaku could play at least one of the two, not sure if he scores, though.

Yeah guess you are right. The panic on these threads is contagious though. Would you think Barkley to Milner worth it or will i stick with team and have 2 transfers for fielding full team next week?

When you posted that, I thought about changing my plan 'cause I was kinda convinced I was gonna get burnt again but considered GW35 and Smalling could make things very complicated then (who knows how many more injuries/out-of-favorism/rotationitude/suspensions/etc... I could get).

My idea was terrible because I presumed he had 2 goalkeepers, just like me. ( I used bench boost and wasn't fully aware that not every player has this advantage).
