Tony Martin is an animal...if only he got a chance to ride for himself

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,630 ✭✭✭pelevin

No leeway at all now for things like mechanicals for the big guys caught out here you'd imagine. Full gas for a long way ahead.

They've not been too hot in finishing things off of late I suppose but Etixx have certainly been generally the great team for shaking things up & making these races come alive.

SOMEONE help Tony Martin FFS...SKY /Lotto get your finger out

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,256 ✭✭✭MPFGLB

IS Sam Bennett still there behind Sagan ?

Though surely the Etixx lads should just force things, step aside & make the others work. Admirable but also bit stupid to take all the load on themselves. Don't think they'll feel much consolation in moral victories.

They are doing my head in. Along with israel and audi. Theyve been running the same ad for the last few years

Overall I'd consider ES good in terms of ads but they're really taking the pish now.

    Boassen-Hagen- bar a fall!

Which is eminently possible during the ad breaks

Actually just switched to the "UCI World Tour" live feed without commentary with ES, avoiding the ad breaks.

How the feck can hear if theres a screech of brakes

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,100 ✭✭✭✭neris

Dont know if stannard n hayman can hold in with the other 3 to fight it out for 1st

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,100 ✭✭✭✭neris

    Good come back from hayman

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,572 ✭✭✭DominoDub

Sky picked the wrong bottle cage for this race Standard has lost half a dozen bottles over the cobbles ...everytime time he looks down to get a drink they are empty ....marginal gains

That is some leading group! Like the tight 5 on the Lions rugby team. Big beasts!

Once they don't fanny about too much, like now- although very experienced.

God, I'm shattered and I didn't pedal an inch. Was roaring for Boonen there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,630 ✭✭✭pelevin

    The shock on Haymans face.

Personally I would have loved a two up sprint between boonen and cancellara but what a fantastic finish. Emotional scenes seeing fabian doing a well deserved lap of honour

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,630 ✭✭✭pelevin

All that effort to win a bit of a rock.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,392 ✭✭✭Daroxtar
