Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gas Cooker - Igniter wont stop clicking

    We have an all in one gas double oven with gas 4 burner hob.
    Its an electrolux.

    Recently when we turn on the main oven, the igniter wont stop clicking. No problem with the top (smaller oven ) and the hob, they all light fine and dont continually click.

    The clicking is super annoying and we think might be mildly dangerous. you can see on the hob that the clicking noise is coming from the back left ring, you can see continuous sparks.

    Any ideas on this? I'd personally have no problem turning off the igniter for the main oven, but wouldnt know where to look.

    Anyone come across this problem before?

    i have had some people out to look at it but they are clueless,
    i have changed the igniter, the igniter controller and the oven micro switch, all parts are new and have been sourced from cooker spares in the uk,
    Anyone come across this problem before? any recommendations in getting someone who will fix this otherwise its a new cooker

    Have you tried lifting the grate and taking the burner cap off and realigning it in case it's not aligned properly?
