Painter for a staircase

Hi, I am looking for a recommendation to a painter for my staircase. It's really just a bog standard pine 12 step staircase. It's had a bit of wear & tear so would need sanding before either re-varnishing or repainting, not sure which one to go for yet. Anyone out there who has had a good experience with this sort of job?…
