The single player is lots of fun. Gonna hit multiplayer after dinner.

Just ordered it for my pro. I was waiting for this especially after missing tomb raider on the first day. Great price

Doesnt seem to be to many in the boards network on the ps4, wouldn't mind getting a good team mic session in.

bought it yesterday on ps 12 deals.. Did an hour of single player, have to say, I love it, controls feel real smooth, playing it on hard level too, want to play some single player first, but if multiplayer is as fun as single player than I can see myself playing this alot.........

The multiplayer is where the game is Ziggyman, although the campaign (whilst short) is a ton of fun. How do you join the boards network for PS4?

It's the first game in a while I think that the SP actually prepares you really well for the MP. And the MP really is brilliant, so fast and fluid but perfectly balanced. The customisation options are very deep too.

Go into Networks>Browse and search for "Boards" should be the only one of that name. Only found out myself from th the previous post that a Boards one existed.

I don't think the Networks effect matchmaking, think they're only like a clan feature.

Exactly, the networks are more for getting a team going really. No matter what network your in, your matchmaking wont be any different.

Join LOTS of networks, that way you'll always have a happy hour bonus going. Happy Hour bonuses are once per network.

Superb game but i can already see numbers dying off on PC.
8pm lastnight 120 people on London server playing bounty hunt which is one of the most popular modes.

I have always associated Titanfall more with console players than PC players so I am not that suprised with a drop off there.

I picked it up on PS4. Add me if you want to play a few games, please just highlight you're adding me for TF2 cause I get confused otherwise

Finished the campaign and came away hoping that they add single player DLC. That was such a blast and really built to a crescendo. I'd take puzzle maps or side-stories for the bosses you fight throughout, but I'd love another three or four hours to play through.

Finally wrapped up the campaign last night. Really enjoyed it! Some of the titan battles were tough.
Think I was lucky more than anything to get through the Viper fight. Eventually resorted to the charged sniper rifle setup available to BT and somehow got the killing shot off as my own reactor was looking worse for wear!

Still blowing hot and cold in multiplayer. Also finding that matches are pretty one-sided one way or the other for the most part. Only had a couple of really close Bounty / Amped Hardpoint matches.

Jumped into the Last Titan Standing mode last night for the first tough. That was a rude awakening :(

    🤪

Could be because you play on console? as you may not have PC scene on your mind.

TF1 done well enough on PC, had some pro players and a healthy community.
If anything the pace of the game suits mouse & KB more than a pad.

The biggest TF youtubers and streamers are on PC too.

:P I laugh as a glance to my right and look through my case side panel to see my GTX 1080 smiling at me. I am well familiar with the PC scene.

I think Titanfall and Call of Duty are just more popular games on console. On PC they tend to die off quickly. I myself prefer to play them on console whereas Battlefield and almost every other shooter I prefer to play on PC.

Titanfall mechanics are definitely more suited to a controller IMO.

You could always play on PC with a controller:D

    Shame..shame..shame.......:D

I play titanfall for a bit of fun when the lads are up so mostly use a controller. I dont take it too seriously though so suits me fine.

Im kinda after hamstringing myself by just going to Angel City. I went onto another map and got annihilated. Still great fun all the same.

    Obvious DLC is
the card the last dude gives you, fight some of those lads or him?

All DLC is free so maybe its just MP maps.

Just finished the single player. What a bucket load of fun that was. I don't have time for long ass games anymore so this was a breath of fresh air. I would recommend anyone who hasn't played this to pick it up when you can.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,303 ✭✭✭Temptamperu

I really wish I was able to do Bot matches to get my skill up and learn my way around on all these maps. I suck on everything bar Angel City.

You can do private matches, it's on the second screen of game modes. No bots though.

Another double XP weekend this weekend. Fantastic timing to pick this up. Hope Santa puts this under a lot of trees on Sunday. My personal favourite game this year

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,303 ✭✭✭Temptamperu

Its my favorite shooter of the year but I only played it and DOOM. I was tired of DOOM by the end whereas all I wanted was another mission in Titanfall.
