    Hi there,

My Aritech CS350 has been going mad recently, we moved to a new (not so new) house. Our alarm was fine at first but began going off sometimes while we were out. Then it became more frequent untill one morning the battery died. We bought a brand new battery, and for a few weeks fine but then it began going off again. A guy i knew came out and lowered the sensitivity on the front (reason was always the front). This worked for months now its going off at random times at night and when at work up to 17 Times.

Any idead what this could be. Most recently i heard a small beep\ buzz going off from the keypad also

Any help appreciated with our baby on the way.

    Thanks

More than likely a faulty sensor or contact on that zone. Adjusting the sensitivity doesn't fix these sensors they need to be found & replaced.Have you a multi meter to check the resistance on that entire zone?

You will be needing to get someone in to look at this for you so.

Apologies for hijacking but for future reference what is the typical resistance expected on a zone? Thanks.

Depends on the length of the loop, the gauge of the cable and the number /type of devices.
On the average 3/4 bedroom house the largest zone should be around 10 ohms.
