If you don't like Big Brother, then MOVE ON. There are hundreds of other forums on this site.

It's been claimed that this summer's Big Brother 2016 will include celebrity housemates.

A fairly strange report by Now magazine brings the news, although the story doesn't seem to make much sense.

The publication talks about Celebrity Big Brother at the same time as referring to the the new series in May/June, which is in fact the regular 'civilian' show.

Whatever they're on about, they suggest at some point the Big Brother house will be 'split in two' with celebrity and regular housemates living alongside one another.

A source told the magazine: "We’re planning on really mixing up the regular series this time by chucking in a load of celebs too and splitting the house up.

"The producers have been approaching people from Gogglebox, TOWIE and Ex On The Beach and have some great names lined up."

The insider also alleged there had already been disagreements behind the scenes over fees, with the celebs set to get paid to take part while the regular housemates will get nothing.

Adding celebs to Big Brother is really nothing new, there have been countless twists and tasks over the years such as last summer's Hotel task.

But a whole series involving Celebrity and regular housemates living together would seem to make the whole idea of having two separate shows pointless.

At the same time, there is a HUGE new house extension being built right now that will add lots of extra space to the set that presumably will have some use in the new series.

For now, watch this space...

Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother will air this summer on Chanel 5, with a rumoured start date in late June.

Ah right, I missed that series and have never heard of him.

Don't watch gogglebox apart from the odd few mins when the girlfriend has it on.

BB add was filmed last week and from what I would call reliable sources, launch may now be 9th June.....not officially confirmed but they tend to be right.

Just had a read of that, I even paused between words for the Emma Willis affect. It all sounds extremely contrived and will be absolutely loaded with fake outs and useless twists and turns in typical BB fashion.

That was Celebrity BB. The show staring next week is "normal" BB. The next Celebrity one will be on later in the summer.

Hmmm, no doubt I'll tune in - I always end up watching.

But I really would like it if they stopped stuffing the houses with the same sort of quasi-celebrities from reality shows like TOWIE, Geordie Shore etc. It's been done before and.... just something different would be nice.

I wonder will they have an Irish person in this year? And if so, will they be as compelling as Marc O'Neill? Prolly not

I just realised that BB starts tomorrow!
Having a horrible time these past few weeks and this will certainly take my mind off it. There'll be lots of "I hate them already" and "oh they are sooooo going to annoy me" not forgetting the "I'm not sure about this person".

We should make a BB bingo:

• The trashy one
• The other trashy one (you know who will fight with the first one)
• The hunky fella that trashy 1 & 2 will fight over
• The posh one
• The dodgy one
• The one with the really shocking outfit
