Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Harsh or not it's still a straight red as the rules go.. I'm a United fan so no horse in this race but if Trapp hadn't taken him down he would have scored and certainly had a clear opportunity to do so at worst.

If Aguero hadn't moved the ball away from goal Trapp would have won it cleanly so I can't see how you give a red for that. Ref got it spot on imo

PSG being whittled down, good to see their squad tested.

Agreed. Kun would have buried that if he hadn't been brought down. Should have been a red card.

He completely missed the target with the easier chance he got.

That injury is a blessing in disguise, motta was being murdered

As injuries go that's a good one. Mora couldn't keep up.

Aguero is like a 12 year old on Red Bull tonight.

Game could really do with a goal here. Not all that much quality or attacking prowess on show. If it wasn't for the peno incident we wouldn't have much to be talking about in fairness.

Cant agree with that, he had rounded him but Aurier was covering and he had taken it wide of the goal. Hence the yellow card, didnt deny a clear goal scoring chance

Wouldn't be surprised to see Aguero go off with an embarrassment injury.

Would you say these are some of your best digs Turtyturd?

Happy enough with that display. Apart from the Ibra free kick, Joe hasn't had a shot to save. And our much maligned CBs have been (for them!) relatively comfortable so far. Kun playing like a man possessed tonight. Kev with some lovely touches and the Fern twins providing excellent cover for our (in)famous defence. Just a shame about that bloody penalty!

    Good stop.

    Navas :D

    Such a bad game.

What does Navas offer City? I don't see it.

Good start to the second half. Much more lively. Lucas playing well for PSG at start of this half so far.

PSG starting to get it going now and you can see City are getting a bit nervous. Interesting 39 minutes ahead

    Two footed.

Wouldn't get away with that in the Champions League.

PSG finally putting together some combinations out wide, the threat is growing.

He sticks to the touchline and stretches the defense.

If he did anything it'd be more than what Di Maria or Cavani have done. Zlatan has disappointed too. Mangala & Otamendi have looked competent so far.

    PSG getting niggly now.

Over on BT I'm relieved Aurier has gone off as Macca kept (wrongly) calling him a left back & never got corrected.

    City look vulnerable defending corners.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Hope I'm wrong but this has sucker punch to City written all over it.

Kevin de Bruyne is worth every penny of the transfer fee he cost.

You're nearly as desperate for us to lose as I would be if it was a certain other side out there tonight!

Bound to draw Guardiola and Bayern in the semi.

City playing with more determination, drive, desire, fight, passion and organisation than I've seen in forever.

Regardless of the result this tie has to have been one of the worst champions league quarter finals in recent years.Atrociously bad quality in both legs.Really disappointing stuff from both teams.

    Aguero has been amazing.

That's a great save by Hart.
