If the volume of oil in the tank is 1635 litrs. How can the volume taken out be more (3627).
Sure the depth only is the distance from top to bottom of oil in tank. Which has increased, but what ?!?!?

    It is part c (iii)
If anyone could explain this to me. Cant seem to wrap my head around it.

"After a fill of oil is delivered".

They've refilled the tank, rather than removed oil from the tank.

The delivery of oil was put into the tank, not taken out.

    (i) Total volume: 5,600
    (ii) Initial oil volume: 1,633.5
(iii) New volume of oil: 5600-340 = 5,260
    Volume delivered = 5,260-1,633.5 = 3,626.5
