Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Could be a good game.
I fancy West Ham to pull through, they are simply the better team at the moment.

expect the BBC pundits/presenters to mention 'last FA cup game at Upton Park' about 9 million times

Ah shi't this on tonight? Amazing to have two different FTA games of football on at the same time!

Last chance saloon for Leyland Van Daft, Bilic clearly wants to win this competition. I think WHU can shade it.

    Wear Ham on penalties.

Kick the ball in the goal.

    Their goal, not our goal.

BBC's coverage is starting with the kick off at 7, no pre match analysis.

Should have won at old Trafford. Delighted for Randolph, the experience will stand to him in June. COYI

Good, I'll get to see the first half of this. Pity it has to be on the same night as the Champion's league.

1 is all we have needed in the past to beat lesser teams.

I always feel very sad when somebody goes and searches another posters post history. I don't know why.

Can't see Memphis starting. Either Martial left and Rashford up top or Young on the left......or striker.

2-1 West Ham (Payet, Carroll - Rashford)

Because they probably remembered the poster saying those things and it's not hard to find. If someone is being a boring so and so they deserve to be told that. T'is a forum after all.

Hardly much searching required. Same as checking someones goal stats before a post. Cuts down on bull.

De Gea, Fosu-Mensah, Smalling, Blind, Rojo, Carrick, Fellaini, Lingard, Herrera, Martial, Rashford

Subs - Romero, Valencia, Young, Schneiderlin, Mata, Memphis, Rooney

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,848 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

Great to see Herrera back in the side for United. I'd have played Young from the start instead of Lingard who hasn't contributed much in the last few games.

We'll be doing well to hold onto possession tonight.

I'm liking the front four though. If we're going to go out at least try to get at them.

Anyone know if this is on the BBC iPlayer? The game vs. Shrewsbury was shown live, but I can't find mention of this.

    Edit: It is, woohoo!

    3-1 hammers.

Theres alot of energy in that West Ham midfield, alot more than Fellaini and Carrick anyway.

Will be difficult but 1-2 away win

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭Rossi IRL

Thats Fellaini in a nut shell.

Can control the high ball decently but then ****s up the simple pass.

Fosu Mensah being caught out of position

Not a great start. Can't string together a couple of passes

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,737 ✭✭✭Hococop

Herrera could have got that if he committed

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

    United's midfield is horrendous

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,595 ✭✭✭✭Trigger

Herrera should be challenging that ball, you never know what way it will bounce

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 11,443 Mod ✭✭✭✭Hammer Archer

We are extremely vulnerable on the break. Antonio and Cresswell need to remember their defensive duties. Lanzini has been surprisingly poor so far.
