Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

United are so awful going forward. The lack of fluidity is embarrassing.

    Keown's such a mouth breather.

    M. Utd must be one of the worst teams in the league when it comes too scoring from corners. Just hopeless.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 11,443 Mod ✭✭✭✭Hammer Archer

We look very poor at the back. Reid's a big loss. Fellaini looking decent

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,595 ✭✭✭✭Trigger

    Nice play by Rashford there

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭Rossi IRL

I like that from Rashford, not afraid to try beat a man.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,737 ✭✭✭Hococop

Hate that short set piece corners

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,848 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

Fellaini bossing the midfield.. looking decent given a bit of freedom to get forward more.

I laughed at Lingard's reaction to that chance,an eye of a needle pass he was looking for from Rashford

Was Rashford someone who was getting talked about a lot for the youth side? Like, were people on the Man U thread for example looking for him to be given a shot in the first team or did he simply come out of nowhere through luck at Martial's injury at the time and just took his chance?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,858 ✭✭✭Manutd_4life

    Nothing Carrick could do there!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,790 ✭✭✭Bret Hart

    Payet really loves a dive.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

Ref got that dead wrong imo.

Dude just ran into Carrick and then fell to ground.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,737 ✭✭✭Hococop

Payet putting us under serious pressure

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,414 ✭✭✭Toobz

Actually wasted by payet, I'd fancy my chances racing carrick these days

Didnt play much for the u21s, seemed to go from u18s to the first team.

He was on the bench a few times for the first team a few months before he got his chance.

He never looked like a prospect in the youth side from what I saw of him. Plenty of players talked about in the Utd thread but never remember anyone singling him out.

    A huge surprise so far.

Wouldn't have been at the forefront of talk to be honest. Much more impressive at senior level really stepped up.

Ha Carrick clearly blocked him off lads :pac:

In fairness, he has made the cover of Time magazine.

If Carrick gets sent off with those two tackles in mind the ref is ****ing awful.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,737 ✭✭✭Hococop

Sub carrick now can see him being sent off in the next 10 min

    Poor shot lingard

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,858 ✭✭✭Manutd_4life

    So close - great save!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,414 ✭✭✭Toobz

Martials play seems laboured...looks fairly tired

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭Rossi IRL

WTF Herrera, that was shockingly bad, just play it on the ground.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Big chance missed. Better going the other side of the keeper.

And wtf was that from Herrera after

Can't blame him. He's been run into the ground.

Poor finish by Lingard more then a great save although the keeper did what he had to do... Herrera not playing great. Looks rusty if anything.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

Rashford looks dangerous, woeful Herrera, well saved Randolph.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,790 ✭✭✭Bret Hart

PSV,Watford,Middlesborough,Man City,Liverpool 2nd leg EL and now WHU,I'm sure there's more. Lingard is a bottler,I only hope he is first out the door in the summer.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,858 ✭✭✭Manutd_4life

For a sec I thought LVG was getting up to go to the touchline.

    Of course not

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,375 ✭✭✭Indestructable

Rashford best Man Utd player so far, Carrick is woeful. Sad to say he looks past it, hasn't the legs at all

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

    Off to Madrid...

Bit harsh. He shouldn't be playing half as many games but I wouldn't be leaping to sell him.

Well in fairness, what he got booked for was a yellow. He knows now he's on a yellow so it's up to him not to do anything stupid.

Its a pity Rojo cant put in the same type of cross as BWJ does
