Hi all, I want to apply for a personal loan of about 15k. Thinking of applying to credit union or my bank. Do I have to declare what I need it for? Also, how long would it normally take to get an answer? Thanks a mill D

You would normally be asked for a reason (and possibly proof, later).

As for how long - it will really depend on the bank/CU etc
