Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dortmund would walk the premier league, as would Bayern.

We're a slightly above average team in a league which is losing quality. I hope we have some sort of unreal plan this summer because we don't have many players who would threaten to get in place in these sides.

We could be back in this already

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,438 ✭✭✭livinginkorea

We are wasteful when we have the ball

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,347 ✭✭✭✭Grayditch

When you actually want us to backheel... Lallana.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,308 ✭✭✭Pyjamarama

Origi can hold his head up here. He's been superb.

Can just not ready for the role he's being forced into tonight. Milner at CM is just awful and Can hasn't the awareness at this stage in his career to patrol the midfield on his own.

Dortmund think they're all that, but Leicester will sort them out in the Champions League next season.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,438 ✭✭✭livinginkorea

    Come on lads

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,081 ✭✭✭Fromvert

Lallana ****ting his pants when getting a chance, like the rest of the team in this game unfortunately.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,480 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Lallana will do anything to get out of the box. That was funniest thing he has done since he beat his man to get in box then ran out of box.

    First man corner again

That balloon on the pitch has contributed more to the side than Milner tonight.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,629 ✭✭✭googled eyes

Jaysis Milners corners are beyond ****e

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Sakho 5 yards deeper than the rest of the defence for both goals.

    Origis control is excellent

Klopp made a mistake starting firmino ahead of Allen were too open

Can is the only bright spark we have at the moment. Confident on the ball.

...but Sahko has been great, right?

    We're wasting this

Origi looks dangerous again at least.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,337 ✭✭✭✭monkey9

Brilliant work from Milner for that Origi chance.

4 great chances since going 2 down. Come on lads need to get one soon

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,081 ✭✭✭Fromvert

Coutinho, Firmino and Lallana aren't showing for the ball when Can has it, hiding.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,308 ✭✭✭Pyjamarama

Nope but i wouldn't be hanging him out to dry. I honestly think both goals were just great goals. He could have stepped out for the second one but the first one was just amazing football.

I don't think every goal has to be a c*ck up by the defender.

    Great challenge there from him.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,438 ✭✭✭livinginkorea

    Great work by Sakho

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,008 ✭✭✭not yet

    Ah that's that.

C'mere for a minute till I tell you a story..

Once upon a time in a far off magical city called Istanbul there were 11 men in red...

    Sakho did decent there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

Dortmund at the turnover are deadly, maybe the best around at it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,948 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

We can score 3, fearful we'll need about 5 though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,036 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Milner is gonna cost us more in this game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,347 ✭✭✭✭Grayditch

Good to see us on the barrage at least.

The worst thing about conceding those goals is that i just feel we've really let Linda down.

Origi is going to be epic - far better than that Martial fella.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,521 ✭✭✭Giggsy11

Liverpool are creating decent chances but missing the final touch.

That is very bad from Sakho unfortunately.

He already looks head and shoulders above most of our squad at this stage.

Hahaha, nearly spat out my beer

Dortmund have lost control of this game since going two goals up... Odd

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,948 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Moreno can't be bothered with defending

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,366 ✭✭✭✭8-10

Ref doing a good job of letting the game flow I reckon. Fascinating game to watch really

Odd game. Liverpool have most of the control now but dortmund still look like they could score at any time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,948 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Rather play with 10 than Milner, handball ffs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Martial, Rashford and a decent player rolled into one.

Sturridge for Lallana and Allen for Miller at HT.

Ojo for a defender last sub

Lovern is pulled too easily out of position too. Dortmund did there homework well on this.

    I still believe

I hope Dortmund end up in Barca's group next season. They'd be two unreal games.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,308 ✭✭✭Pyjamarama

Could easily be 4-4.. well maybe 1-4...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,948 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

    The midfield needs serious work

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

That should have been it, good interplay.

Milner and Can have been largely passengers
