    Hi,
Just wondering if anyone knows of any local garden centre or nursery other than Woodies where I could get the likes of shrubs, topsoil and hedging plants. I heard the one in on the N3 at Clonee is closed as it is becoming an Avoca. Are there any others local.
    Thanks.

Not in D15 but The Orchard in Celbridge is a good one, If you know the back road from Clonee/Clonsilla to Leixlip and on to Celbridge only takes about 20 mins

I think that that place is gone - new houses are currently being built there, with the Farmhand building mostly demolished.

Garden Yard at Farmhand closed about 2 years ago.

Not D15 but Rathoat Garden Centre and WildFlower Cafe is very good http://ratoathgardencentre.ie/#about

There's a garden centre at Coolquay on the Ashbourne Rd. Not sure if it's any good.

There's one just the other side of Ashbourne too.

Orchard, as mentioned above, is a good one, seems comparatively expensive though. They've got a lovely restaurant at it though so it's always worth a trip.

Thumbs up to both The Orchard and the centre in Rathoat.
