life insurance and funeral cover ?

    Hi guys , I need get life insurance for a parent and included funeral cover , just something maybe a monthly pay scheme and budget any recommendations

    Their current health, age and outstanding liabilities will determine what cover suits best but if they just want to cover the funeral expenses An Post offer something like this, seen it advertised on TV. If death occurs within 2 years of taking out the policy their dependents get back what was paid in premiums, after 2 years full funeral cover kicks in.

    Another idea which will cost them nothing extra is to get them to open an account with their local credit union if they are less than 70, they pay out between €1300 and €3250 on death...

    Thanks might go visit the post office today and see what they say , but u was looking at Irish life they offer something like funeral cover and life insurance for 15 a month I'm only looking to it away 5 a week for my parent because I know they have no savings etc
