Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    No sign of yis!

    Info off of Joe.ie...

    Tonight!
    Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick
    noelfitzpatrick.jpg

Supervet and Laois native Noel Fitzpatrick will be joining Ryan to chat about the pioneering surgeries that made him famous, from giving prosthetic titanium paws to Oscar the Bionic Cat, to the state-of-the-art keyhole surgery he uses daily to save animals at the UK's most famous veterinary practice.
Noel is also going to have a crack at diagnosing the nation's ailing pets, with videos and pictures being submitted by viewers on Twitter using #LateLateSupervet, the Late Late's Facebook page and by email to latelateextra@rte.ie.

    Mouse Morris
    mousemorris.jpg

Less than a week on from Rule the World’s momentous win at the Grand National, Mouse and his son Jamie will reminisce about a memorable weekend at Aintree and discuss a tough year for the family following the tragic death of son and brother, Tiffer Morris, who passed away due to carbon monoxide poisoning.

    Emily Hourican

Having shared details of her cancer battle with readers of the Sunday Independent, journalist Emily Hourican will update Ryan on her current progress and discuss why she got it all out in the open.

    Shazia Mirza

The British-Asian Muslim stand-up comedian Shazia Mirza will join Ryan to talk about her new show, The Kardashians Made Me Do It, where she doesn't mince her words about the women who fangirl on ISIS fighters.

Vogue Williams and Louis Walsh Missed him by a week ;)
    article-2408555-1B9261F8000005DC-654_306x423.jpg

Vogue and Louis will be acting as judges for Junk Kouture, a national contest which encourages second level students to create striking couture designs and works of wearable art using everyday items that would normally find their way into the bin.

    Music from…

Luka Bloom, We Banjo 3 and YouTube sensation Bry.

    Alright so....
    Dog-Rides-Cat-So-Cute.jpg

Yep, two misery slots for the price of one, and Louis on to judge fashion......

    A misery slot special.

    Cancer and carbon monoxide poisoning.

Because Tubridy doesn't have a clue about sport he'll likely focus on the tragedy in the Morris family rather than the success.

Louis and f*ckin Vogue? Again? Grrragh. I would just love it if someone would actually ask him proper questions for once.

"Louis, your book "Louis Walsh's Fast Track To Fame", what was the message in that book? Was it really as shallow as it seems? How do you feel about literally cashing in on naive young kids ill founded hopes & dreams? What about promoting the idea of the importance of fame over the importance of achievement to the point where the acievement isn't even mentioned?"

"How do you think people who trained to be musicians feel when they see you laughing off how your cash cow mime artists play an absolutely minimal, if indeed any, part in the process of making records?"

"As for you, Vouge, literally... ... ...what's your thing again? Why are you here? Vague Williams, more like Literally."

You'll be on Prime Time next Donie if you keep up this investigative journalistic standards thingie............;):p

Finally hit the big time and in the show audience tonight

My tactical plan involves several glasses of free red wine before the show so I can get through the misery slots, a nice wink to the camera at approx 10.27 and finishing with a nice sing and clap along to end the show

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,793 ✭✭✭Red Kev

This is diabolical. I know the parents of one of the junk couture exhibitors so I have to watch.

That means putting up with Walsh. Proof that talentless gormless prats like him will always get on the closed shop that is RTE.

I think a country of 4.6 million can get two judges together that aren't regulars on the show.

I wonder where is he now. He would be the perfect candidate for a Running Man type gameshow as punishment.

I love you all truly, madly, deeply.

    You know I do.

But it's been a very rough week.

    I can't any more misery, I really can't.

    Especially not cancer.

    So I'm leaving you.

    (For tonight.)

    I'm sorry.

    It's not you, it's me.

    :(:(:(

Tubs and Morris have no clue on etiquette. It's the grand national. You do not refer to it as English.

Evening all :) ''So...Hometown was a complete disaster. Where do you think you went wrong?''

    There were two problems.

    1) Louis had more enlisted in the band than General Jap had enlisted to fight the Americans
    2) Over the years, Louis' definition of handsome seems to have deviated from the tweenies definition of handsome.

Gentleman in every sense of the word.

I agree AD, they do them cheap enough in Aldi/Lidl from time to time
