Transferring Courses/ Colleges (UCC, UL)

    Could do with a bit of help and explaining when it comes to colleges and courses.

    I'm from Cork and currently in UL 2nd year studying Computer Systems. I haven't gone to college much if I'm being honest because although I've a fierce interest in computers, there is no one in the course I'm really friends with as I feel quite different from a lot of them and I'd be a fairly sociable fella (No one really interested in sport and all that). As I'm in 2nd year is it possible to do Computer Science in UCC and re-do 1st year again. I didn't get the points for Computer Science 1st year round but as I've a year in UL done is it a possibility as I have no idea what the story is when it comes to transferring courses and colleges? Would this be eligible like the same sort of procedure as PLCs have. Any help would be much appreciated, cheers!
