Any Kits similar to Kinnegar's Devil's Backbone?

    Hi all, I had a bottle of Kinnegar Devil's Backbone recently, and very nice it was too. It is described as an Amber Ale, and I was wondering if anyone knows any kits or simple kit hacks that would give a similar result.

    Not sure what your setup is but if you have the ability to do a boil you could try a version of this http://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=145402. Assuming you don't want to do a full mash you can steep the specialty grains then boil with 2.75KGs of DME (replacing the 10lbs of Pale Malt in the recipe) adding hops etc as indicated. I made the all-grain version of this before Christmas and it turned out brilliant.

    Rats, I had forgotten about the homebrewcompany, thanks Liamo08. My setup at the moment is not much more than a FV and a can opener/scissors. :D
    I was however, only looking last night at a guy doing a BIAB extract brew, but he mentioned setting aside SIX hours* to do it, which would put me off considering it. Whereas, I can get a kit going in just over an hour with pretty good results, especially the stouts.

    In that video he's effectively doing all-grain brew in a bag, I'm talking about more of an extract approach which would be more like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBP1zbSd7tw and wouldn't require a chiller, should take about 2 hours as opposed to 6. Either way I think the kit would give you good results if you wanted to stick with your current methods.
