I think a good strawberry jam on brown soda bread can be as nice as cake :)

My primary school lunch was often Mammy’s YUMMY homemade soda bread with butter and jam. Probably not the most nutritious lunch but I LOVED it and it was very filling.

My granny was always amazed that we wanted her lightly sweetened homemade brown soda bread scones more than chocolate or biscuits. We went mad for them. :pac:

To sum up, soda bread is the bizzo. And butter. And jam.

To be honest it's a lot easier than it looks.

The only difficult bit is the clean up

Salted Caramel millionaire shortbread and mini lemon meringue tarts. I made the tarts in a mini cupcake tray so they are teeny tiny! You could pop a whole one in your mouth in one go. I would know... :o

*Mod note - lads, I had to take out the quoted photos or we'd be in trouble for taking up too much space. Also we'd be drooling three times as much :p
