I thinking of getting the R1 and 996 dynoed, just need to find someone (I can trust) to ride the R1 or 996 up to RPM with me on Saturday morning.
Bit of craic and 40 euro to DSI charity.
All good in the hood,as they say.:D

Seems like a great price. How mush is this service normally?

Think its usually about 50-60 euro for a dyno run.

    Not sure on that thought.

Exciting and all, in reality it's quite frightening to see your bike being run on the dyno

especially when you are standing just to the back of it and then it spits big licks of flame out the back on the downshifts.:D

Ask Steve or Kev in NDM, I wanted to double check the fuelling on d'Bonnie, so ran it on their dyno. My brain was running 10K rpm just watching - thinking if it "might" drop a valve or throw a rod, should I have gone another 2 psi in the rear hoop? and a dozen other things  - had to go outside for a calming ciggie till the session was over. Thankfully everything ran perfect and fuelling was spot on - probably watched too many engines go plop on youtube

Hope tomorrow's DSI Dyno Day is well supported - have fun ;)

I know Steve,Kev and Nathan well.
They set my bike up for me on the dyno, flashtuned it and did the quickshifter for it.
I was standing in the dyno room behind it watching it spit flames and by heck was it an experience.:D

Was only up there in NDM yesterday getting the once over done on the bike by Steve.

Nathan is racing his Aprillia 450 supertwin in Snetterton next weekend,so good luck to him and the NDM lads over there.:)

Ah tomorrow will be a good day, lots of banter and hopefully lots of money raised for Down Syndrome Ireland.:)
