Ran CoE last night on the Warlock. First run though was Voidwalker with Obsidian Mind. Changed to Stormcaller for second run through and it felt much more effective.

Roaming supers seem to be the way to go this week. Hammerbro's and Ticklefingers. Hunters probably Bladedancer, as Golden Gun will only give four kills max unless your very lucky with adds being lined up. Possibly Nightstalker as orb generator for the 2 roamers. Should be easy enough to rack up the points with 2 roaming supers.

Rewarded with 335 boots and 335 HMG. Look at the stability:

We ran 2 x Hammer Bro Titans and a Teather Hunter early on in the week and basically we went with the hunter throwing a tether out and first hammer bro pops his hammers, 2nd pops his hammers as soon as 1st hammers are gone (Only if more than 5/6 enemies)

We were coming out with approx 55,000 each time.

Think I'm kind of Done doing CoE 90k runs on all 3 characters now tbh.

It's grand when you're bored but I've gotten what I need in terms of drops and an alternative play experience.

As Conovar always touted, it was never going to be as gripping when it's 3 player and not 6 player

Angel of Light on sunsinger a bit of use. That titan exotic helmet (on sunbreaker with simmering flames).

    Also - telesto.

It lags behind Raids and crucible imo - I'd run CoE either after I have got my other weekly activities done, or a quick run prior to a raid. It is a well rewarded time waster, really.

And I've no issue with that - it serves a decent purpose.

I quite like CoE. A 90k run takes 2 rotations, and can be done in 30 mins. 30 mins that can be spared at the end of a raid, over the weekend. 90 mins total over a week. Time wise it takes nothing, rewards up to 335. Easy money, as they say.

I'm not saying I don't like it. I just think I'd rather do other stuff usually.
It's handy for what it represents now, which as ye say, is essentially plugging a hole while you wait for a team of 6 to do XYZ.

That being said 3player PvE was never my bag.
My playtime in Strikes is non existent (a mere 6 days overall - actually less time than I've spent in Patrol)
Which is like 10% of my playtime. Meanwhile I've spent like ~28 days in Crucible and ~20 days in Raids.

I completely get what your saying. 6player content, be that PvE or PvP, is by far the more rewarding experience, and I'm not talking in relation to in game drops, and this coming from probably the least talkative person here.

I think CoE is fun, its soloable and easy with 2 which makes it way more accessible to people. You can burn through it in 5 minutes or take your time for max score and do it in 30. A raid that requires 6 people simply doesn't appeal to as many of the playerbase.

Fresh Troops / Juggler - Precision Kill Bonus

  • Registered Users Posts: 45,524 ✭✭✭✭Mitch Connor

With fresh troops and precision kill bonus I would imagine this should be fairly easy to knock out in two runs. More to kill and the easiest bonus type.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,870 ✭✭✭✭Generic Dreadhead

This sounds like a handy one alright, might give it a shot on my main for the craic

Yep, should be handy enough. Any primary really, sidearm/sniper for the secondary and HMG for the heavy. You can switch weapons to counteract juggler and still keep the getting the precision kills.

Use Bad Juju as your primary and don't worry about ammo.

I pity the great unwashed Jade Rabbitless masses

1 hit hit, huge hitbox/aim assist, miss a hot and get a free refill.

What a time to be alive Rabbiteer
