    Monday 12th of September:

    Snatch:

    From three positions

    (57/1+1+1)2, (67/1+1+1)4

Reps from the hang are ok but my start position when pulling from the floor is a bit wonky. Going to make an effort to hold the start position for a couple of seconds before initiating the pull from now on.

    Snatch Pull:

    Floor + below knee

    (75/1+2)2, (85/1+2)2

    Clean + Squat + Jerk:

    (75/2+2+2), (88/2+2+2)3

    Squat:

    75/4, 90/4, 105/4, (115/4)3

    Back Extension:

    (20/8)3

    Wednesday 14th of September:

    Snatch:

    (57/3)5

Think I've had a slight epiphany with my start position!

    Power Clean & Jerk:

    (75/3+3)4

    Clean Deadlift:

    100/5, 125/5, 132/5

I think I'm gonna try and work towards getting 150 for a triple with solid positions in this exercise.

    Front Squat:

    75/3, 90/3, (100/3)3

    Back Extensions:

    (20/8)4

Think I'm ready to start adding a few kilos to the bar on this exercise.

Training is a bit directionless at the moment which is why I haven't been fussed with logging here (it's written in my journal tho). Made some technique breakthroughs this week though which is nice. I clean deadlifted 150/2 on Wednesday and squatted 152.5/3 today which I think is a PB triple. Body weight was ~90.4kg.

Need a bit of a plan.

    Saturday 15th of October:

    Deadlift + Power Snatch:

    57/2+1, (62/1+2)4

    Clean & Jerk:

    (75/2+2)2, (88/2+1)2, (94/2+1)2, (100/1+1)2, (106/1+1)2

    Clean Deadlift:

    Snatch Grip Press:

    35/4, 40/4, 45/4

    Squat:

    82.5/5, 100/3, 115/3, 130/3, (140/3)3

Still feeling a bit flat and quick lifts are suffering. I guess that's to be expected when doing a lot of "heavy" pulls. Light week next week so hopefully I'll get some good recovery and the extra strength will transfer over the the quick lifts.

Snatch start position is much improved from 4 weeks ago, still work to do on my second pull though. I think my start position in the clean needs some work judging by the videos i took today so that's another thing to add to the ever growing list.

Ah no way! Can't believe I didn't realise that was you. Training going well? Lifting in the club champs in December?

Training is flying - not trying to force any sort of peak at the moment just doing the grunt work to set me up for something big next year. 50/50 on doing the clubs... looks like a lot of fun but I don't really want to take anothet heavy squat until I know its going to be 600lbs +

Good stuff, long may it continue! Yeah I can see where you are coming from. Perhaps you could treat it as a heavy training session and just lift 85-90% (easier said than done sometimes) and maybe just pick a lift or two rather than doing a full power. Might be handy as competition practice to keep that aspect fresh if nothing else, I find that can be a use it or loose it type of deal.

    Monday 31st of October:

    Snatch:

    (56/3)2, (66/2)2, 75/2, 77.5/2, 80/2, 82.5/2, 85/2 PB

Happy with this considering how heavy 75kg+ felt on Saturday.

    Snatch Pull:

    (85/4)4

    Hang Clean & Jerk:

    (75/2+1)2, (87.5/2+1)2, (94/2+1)2

    75/3, 87.5/3, (100/3)4

    Wednesday 2nd of November:

    Hang Snatch:

    (56/3)2, (66/2)2, (71/2)3

Ok. My left strap kept coming loose which was a bit distracting.

    Clean & Jerk:

    (75/2+2)2, (87.5/2+2)2, (100/2+1)2, 106/2+1, 112.5/2+1 PB

Cleans felt really, really good today. Jerks not so much.

    Clean Pull:

    (112.5/4)4

    Snatch Grip Press:

    (40/4)2, (50/4)2

    Squat:

    87.5/4, 100/4, 112.5/4, 120/4, (112.3/4)3

Kept to the lower end of the % in the squats in order to work speed a bit more. Got plenty of leg work during the heavy cleans anyway.

Really good training session today. Reintroducing lifts from the hang with 70% weights seems to be helping a lot.

    Power Clean & Jerk:

    (75/2+1)2, (87.5/1+1)3, 94/1+f, 94/1+1

Tweaked something in my lat/back picking up a 10kg plate of all things. Don't think it will be a huge problem and hopefully it will be gone by the morning.

    Saturday 5th of November:

    Snatch:

    (56/2)2, (66/1)2, (75/1)3, (80/1)4, 85/f

    Clean & Jerk:

    (75/2+2)2, (87/1+1)2, (100/1+1)3, (106/1+1)2, 102/1+1

    Snatch Grip Press:

    (40/3)4

    Squat:

    87.5/3, 100/3, 112.5/3, 125/3, (137/3)3

    RDL:

    87.5/5, (100/5)2

Ok training session. Snatches and C&J with 80-85% weights felt pretty good but wasn't able to push into the 90% range, probably to be expected after PB's on Mon and Wed. Squats felt pretty heavy.
