Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lallana has had about 4 or 5 efforts already in the first 30 minutes.

Hasn't done anything decent, lost the ball a lot and given away a lot of fouls.....been poor IMO....Milner is the number 7 in red by the way :p

Two fouls. One of which wasn't, the other he could do nothing about. Won a lot of tackles already, and is, as always, covering a **** tonne of ground and helping both attack and defence.

He's not playing great, perhaps, but certainly not bad.

The fact that he's number 7 might actually be the issue, for the most part, as what he does is certainly not the glamours side of the game. That said, he has chipped in with plenty of assists already this year.

Lallana must have had at least 37 attempts so far.

Some nerv(ol) looking for a penalty there.

Milner complaining Coutinho didn't pass it to him at the edge of the box. He's the only person who doesn't realise he'd have fallen over if he got it.

Given the amount of chances we've had, I reckon Sturridge would have scored at least one by now.

If he was playing with Origi, yeah. Instead of him, maybe not...all the chances are coming for for support players with Origi occupying the defenders opening up space to run into.

Would like to see Allen on for Milner, and Sturridge on for Lallana later, give a little more time for Sturridge and Origi to develop something together.

Lallana's doing ok aside from missing his chances though.

Benteke would still be controlling central midfield.

Suarez would be subbed off with a hattrick

Not getting all the Milner hate ,

Lalana could not hit sand if he fell off a camel

This game is screaming out undeserved Everton goal from a set-piece. Or a 30 yard rocket into the top corner.

Lovern has great reading of the game, like a newborn foal on ice when anybody is running at him though.

I wasn't talking about how the number 7 is an iconic number and he shouldn't wear it just wasn't sure you knew which player he was, a poor joke maybe...

Has he won a lot of tackles? I remember 1 perhaps 2 at the most?.....covering ground? Maybe, not having much influence on the players that enter that space though.....doing a limited job I suppose, I'm not happy with his performance anyway, and judging by other comments I'm not the only person, as I said previous I expect a bit more from him given his experience and wage, as unfair as that may seem.....

I know. Was more just me trying to add perspective as to why Milner gets hate for a performance of the same standard that would draw praise for Can. I presume it expectations.

People look at him through a microscope, and his poor set pieces don't help in that regard, alright.

Milner on the wing = quality

Another assist from Milner , not sure why he can't do it from a corner but lovely ball in there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

Origi has all the physical attributes that you'd give a player if you were creating them on FIFA, or something. He's huge, he's fast, great feet, can head the ball. If he keeps improving his finishing, he can go a long way.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,564 ✭✭✭✭OwaynOTT

    Fcuking head on Joe.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,948 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Is Milner left footed and he just doesn't know it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,225 ✭✭✭Chardee MacDennis

commentator saying Origi hasn't looked good tonight? Am I watching a different game, thought he's looked sharped when he's had an opportunity.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Sturridge wondering how Origi already has a chant and he still doesn't.

Milner might go balls out and get some pink wafers for his tea tonight. Great pass in fairness

Yeah, he's like a cheat player.

Started slow. Klopp was shouting at him for not displaying the kind of movement he wanted too, apparently.

Last 15 mins I thought he was a lot more involved alright. Showed great feet a couple of times as well.

Just spent the last few minutes trying to stop a nosebleed and I walk back into the room to see us 1-0 up.

I think it's fair to assume, divine intervention?

Picked a bad day to wear a white t-shirt though.

Luis Suarez is good like but he's no Divock Origi.
