part time paye and part time sole trader

Hi I work part time as paye in blocks during the year (correcting exams for different companies) an opportunity has come up to also get work as a sole trader for a couple of blocks a year (editing exam papers) will this new work affect my tax and or money made as paye earner Is it worth my while working as a sole trader…
