Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There is the square root of zero chance that Dearbhla's fella is 30.

Didn't he then admit he was 40?

    Dearbhla is very teachery

    Welling up at this story.

    Tough

Yeah that’s a bloody tough one alright.

Apologies for being flippant but the girl in the background over his shoulder is fairly distracting since she is almost falling out the top of her dress!

What happened between the blonde in the yellow dress and giggles? Are they going on a second date?

They got on brilliantly ... 100%

Even answering the question at the end was like an assessment.

I still find her hot though.

    Ms

I thought your man with the strange laugh and your one in the yellow dress got on great and she was much nicer than I thought she would be when I seen her at first, I mean she even had a nice personality. Someone else could have said 'whats the story about that laugh' and decided not to go on a second date with him. I would say he was even a bit nervous about that. I thought they were lovely together and perfect for each other.

Your man who had the daughter that died. That was very sad but the fact she was also pregnant made it even sadder. A terrible thing to happen to any parent. Can't have been easy.

Overall I think it was a good episode.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

    Jesus, Wayne's story was heartbreaking.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,052 ✭✭✭appledrop

That was a brilliant episode. All the couples meet up again for another date. I was nearly bawling listening to middle age couple. Both have had it rough so it would be lovely if it worked out for both of them. Like they have a second chance with their kids grien up.

The young couple with tattoos were mad for each other. Talk about sparks flying!

Dont see Deabhala + other guy as a match but who knows. Very sad that 32 year old gets her mammy to pick her up. Thought that was pathetic to be honest. She was firing questions at him like a job interview.

That phonecall to "mammy" at the end was really a call to her buddy.
"Got rid of your man from Kerry. Meet me for drinks asap"

Echoing what others have said, a brilliant episode tonight. I thought they got the balance with everything right, younger/older, gay/straight etc. This show is always better when it consists of everyday people that we can relate to i.e not people only looking for self promotion, and I think tonight's episode reflected that really well.

The thank you woman is a good looking woman..

Definitely one of the better nights,I really hope the Cork couple keep seeing each other, despite the annoying 'thank you' I'd say shes lovely and good craic and I really liked Wayne...his teeth though.

I’m always watchin this on catch up so only starting now.

Your man Timmy was an awful narcissistic ar*ehole when he was first on it.
Actually came across as a horrible individual so I presume this is an attempt to rebuild his profile/show us his nice side

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,895 ✭✭✭Poor_old_gill

Saying thank you a lot like that is a nervous thing-my other half does it when we are out for dinner all the time. Not as much as that tho.
She’s a nice looking woman for her age tho and being too polite is better than being horrible.

Her date reminds me of Kevin spacey a bit

    Yeah..no shlt..

On another note, I'm familiar with Peter from tonight's episode. He was three years above me in school but I don't know him very well. Always seemed like a very nice guy who hasn't had the easiest life, so I hope everything works out for him. I suspect he can do better than Timmie though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,895 ✭✭✭Poor_old_gill

The blonde haired girl with the Tatt’s is actually lovely looking and has a very nice accent. Your mans laugh is priceless!

Good looking couple be interesting to see how they get along

He seems lovely and genuine whereas Timmy seems fake in my opinion.

I usually cant stand first dates Ireland as usually full of ott wannabes but tonight one was brilliant. Very like the normal uk episode.

God people here are harsh. Nothing wrong with Waynes teeth! He just looks like a normal person in their 50s not all these ones with their venueers + bleached teeth!

If Peter changes sides, he can PM me :)

Your man's laugh should be a ring tone.

That's aimed at me I presume, I hate veneers, bleached etc but I'd find his a bit too yellow, just my opinion because apart from that I think he's lovely and his personality/humour would be definitely what I would go for myself...I wasn't being nasty but it would put me off.

Yeah, his teeth seemed fine to me. Modern smart tvs exaggerate colour, so in my experience white teeth look peroxide white whilst slightly stained teeth look quite a lot worse than they actually are.

Derbhla seems nice, Bobby looks like he’s been out in the sun too long.

She does have a real teacher voice where it always sounds like she speaking down to a person but in a polite way.

People flip flopping about their age is always very annoying
