I couldn't imagine anyone who ever appeared on the show thought going on TV was their only hope of finding love. It's probably half scripted like every other reality tv show.

    Great entertainment though.

I’ve known a few people who were on it and it’s not scripted. If anything the feedback I heard was that you forget you’re on a TV show until the TV show parts (like the interview after the date) kick back in. I thought there’d be parts where they at least give them prompts to discuss major talking points (eg deaths) that become central to the date, but no apparently not, I think they just interview them about it beforehand so it’s fresh in their mind then it happens naturally.

I see your point, but after seeing that preview I turned to my GF and we said "ah Jesus, what a dope!" I wouldn't have been happy if that was me.

Ah yeah. I didnt read that much into it tbh. Seemed fine.

Yes, but if you go on something like this you have to accept that part of the deal is, you are canon fodder for the production company.

Well, in fairness, electrician guy isn't helping her ( or himself) out. So far, he's showing the charisma of a dead badger
