Removing landline, effects on HKC QUANTUM 70

    I currently have a landline and broadband connection is via ADSL, but I'm planning on removing the landline and upgrading to a COAX fibre broadband connection (which will include a "phone number", but I imagine this is an internet phone connection)

    I have a HKC QUANTUM 70 which is connected to the landline and rings me if the alarm goes off. Can I continue to use this setup via the COAX route as well or does it need a landline?

    What's involved in upgrading it?

    You can connect the alarm to your analogue line out of the modem.
