Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ive been a big Joe Allen fan for ages. It bothers me how fans of football in general dont appreciate him. Every midfield needs a Joe Allen.

Some reports Matic is available. Off form last season but he would be a very good signing.

Piss poor last year but superb the previous year. Highly unlikely signing given that we can't attract the likes of Zielinski.

Aye, but there is 0 chance that chelsea will sell him to us after the success of Sturridge and not giving the redoubtable Victory Moses enough game time.

At the right price, could be an excellent signing. I suppose with Kante just signed and Loftus-Cheek & Mikel, they feel the need to trim the squad in that area. If Klopp could get him back to something like the form of '14-'15, we'd have a beast on our hands. Which is why I'd be surprised if they would sell to us.

Matic is a good player . Not sure if he would be a klopp type player . He is more a covering space type player than someone that's going to charge around the pitch pressing the ball.

Bizarrely I was just looking up the Tampa Bay Rowdies today as a Facebook friend I have who's a pro in the U.S. has a birthday today and I was looking up who he's playing for now...the Rowdies!

Also there is Freddy Adu who's spent decades being the next big thing, and Kenny's son Paul Dalglish (ex-Liverpool) is a coach there.

Quite the fall from grace for poor Joe, you'd think an MLS team would be interested in him at least

Edit: on further inspection, Dalglish is no longer coach there

It was a low point for all of us. We probably though Cole could somehow negate the likely Hodgson effect.

Celtic looking at Flanagan in loads of the papers.

I particularly "enjoyed" the way Hodgson immediately tried to claim credit for signing Joe, only to completely disavow any involvement with the deal later on.

The piss-soaked nursing home sponge of a man that he is.

Balotelli would be a good fit there .
    At ANY price :)

    A wild Ilori appears.

If anyone has a recipe for this game, I would be most grateful.

Give him plenty of candy and stardust and hopefully he'll evolve into a first choice CB.

Why didnt Liverpool bid for Kante?

    He only cost 30 million.

But we go for donkeys like Andy Carroll and Benteke.

    Were is the ambition???

Chelsea arent even in the Champions League or Europa league.

Does this mean us Liverpool fans should settle for 7th place every season???

We need a signing that will capture the imagination of the loyal fans.

There are a whole host of reasons why we did'nt bid for him, i will admit i would have loved us to sign him.

Ambition? We have Klopp as manager and just signed him up for another 6 years that's enough for me.

We're not settling for anything and nothing indicates either the manager or the owners are settling either.

Coutinho hit the post with a nice free kick. Mane looking lively again.

Peter Enckelman style. Ser Loris will be on the road back to Highgarden if he makes mistakes like that. He recovered well to be fair to him.

Did'nt realise before today wigan will be playing in league 1 this year, that's some fall.

They got promoted to the championship last season. .

Ejaria really does look very promising. I know most promising youngsters generally don't make it at the club in the end but he has a real chance IMO.
