Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

At a stupid wedding in stupid Galway tonight but have it on record in case I don't get back to Dublin for kickoff. Either way I reckon I'll be hungover. Might let the wife drive but this seems like a 12.45 decision.

    Sigh.

I've a work conference on Thursday night. I might have to call in dead :D

RMC Sport- "Mamadou Sakho has been suspended by #LFC after failing some doping tests.

Sakho did not know the composition of this fat burner, which he took in a purely personal and therapeutic interest to remove fat.

Sakho, which is very affected by the news, intends to prove his good faith. The club hopes to help in these efforts."

If it's purely an internal thing and he hasn't failed an actual test, i don;t think he'll serve an official suspension (could be wrong) - it would just be until whatever it is is out of his body.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Are RMC Sport reliable? That seems to be everyone's source for the whole thing

Mamadou Sakho has been suspended by Liverpool after failing a drugs test.

So then Kolo (how ironic) or Skrtel

Surely he'll face investigation now though.

Should announce his retirement to dodge an external test.

Yesterday, Friday 22nd April 2016, a formal communication was received from UEFA stating that they are investigating a possible anti-doping rule violation by Mamadou Sakho.

The player will respond to UEFA on the matter.

The player is currently not subject to any playing suspension. However, the club, in consultation with the player, has decided that while this process is followed the player will not be available for selection for matches.

There will be no further comment at this time.

Pretty amazing, stupid thing to do. If he gets a six month ban is that six months of league time or just "time time"?

On the plus side he can concentrate on his painting now which has been woefully neglected of late

Very very silly. They have so many resources to check if anything they are taking is legal.

I'd be amazed if it turns out to be nothing at this point.

    Horrible timing though.

Has until Tuesday to respond, reports saying he's going to ask for a B sample to be tested.

Sakho free to work on the main stand now for the summer and have it ready early.

See how long it takes for people to change it from fat burners to steroids.

    .........

Edit. The gist of it in my opinion - there is or has been a problem between Sturridge and Klopp.

Bizarre if true, it's only since Sturridge has been available that we've seen a marked improvement in performances & results. He has a huge positive impact on the team.

**** sake. If its true get rid.

Meh Sakho had nothing to do with it kids, it's all down to Glass.

Benefit of the doubt here lads, he could very well have taken something that was prescribed to treat a particular ailment.

Crack is usually smoked but I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Sakho was snorting rocks of it.

    Beast.

Ah yeah, well then his advisor or whoever looks after this stuff should be sacked.

I never buy the accidental drug cheats stories anyway tbh. Everyone is innocent when caught. No doubt there's tons of players at it.

Ban will probably be the same no doubt

This is going from worse to worst:( So many big players missing

Benteke definitely done at the club if he can't even make the bench when Mr Glass is the only semi fit striker available.

But I'll happily take a hit on Rodgers signing of him because we now have Klopp as manager.
