Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You mean in the second half, it was the main feature of the first.

Of course, game fell apart after the first goal conceded.

I think if we get a top drawer keeper in in the summer it'll make a big difference to the team.

We're always afraid of a Ming howler now :(

  • Good result for Newcastle, not going down without a fight

They deserved the draw. Were the better team in the second half.

Rafa will be loved by the Toon.

Did Pool cycle off the gear at half time?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,945 ✭✭✭dogbert27

Great result for Newcastle. Picked up two points now from Man City and Liverpool where they would have expected none.

Their only problem now is that Sunderland have two games in hand (albeit one is tomorrow against Arsenal).

Norwich have a game in hand too but their next two games are against Arsenal and United. Over these two games Newcastle could leapfrog Norwich.

Newcastle's hardest game on paper now is the final game of the season against Spurs. Rafa could just pull off another miracle yet!

They'll be fine IMO as I've said along. Palace (H) and Villa (A) to come should have them on 36 before the Spurs game on the last day. Sunderland or Norwich won't even reach 36.

Sunderland guaranteed to pick up a result tomorrow against Arsenal.

I have no doubt in my mind that Big Sam will muster up something.
