    I need to get my hair done in Athlone on May 20th for a wedding. Any recommendations? I am staying in the Prince so somewhere nearby would suit?

    Theres a good Turkish barber near Golden Island.

    All the following would be within walking distance of the hotel:
    • MOHH is just around the corner from the hotel on the same side of the street, can be pricey though
    • Medussa (just up the street from hotel as you head to the bridge)
    • Boston Belle (in the Athlone Towncentre (ATC) shopping centre)
    • Custom Cuts (just outside ATC)
    • Peter Marks (in Golden Island)
    • Marie's hair salon is between ATC and Dunnes stores.
    • Koztello is across from Dunnes Stores and the way down to Golden Island.
    • I think Scissor Sisters is still open - that's behind the apartments blocks across from Dunnes and Golden Island.
