Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A tweet from Graham Hunter summed up that game

"Both teams have largely treated the ball like a suspect device."

Awful game but city proving they can do the dirty work. 2nd leg on a knife edge you'd imagine madrid would finish the job but their is an air inevitability of city getting to the final this year imo.

City were very disappointing. It wasn't the best game of football but that was mostly down to the home team really struggling to create much and 90% of the time breaking down with so many poor final passes. Real weren't great either but missed some sitters, Pepe's especially, Hart shouldn't be getting anywhere near that. If Real weren't gonna score they would take City not having the momentum and they did it reasonably easily to be honest. Must be so frustrating for Aguero to play with midfielders who can't judge a 10-20 yard ball properly.

Not looking too rosey for james rodriguez at the moment, looks like zidane fancies a 1-2 midfield with no number 10, hes not exactly great out wide either. Wonder will he stick around?

He was never right for Real from the start, another boardroom signing. He tends to get lost in the shuffle a but because, although very talented, he needs a lot of protection when he plays as his defensive instincts are almost non existent. He doesn't have the pace to adapt to another position either.

I've always thought him fairly limited positionally and overall, despite his obvious talent. I don't think he belongs in Madrid, he was the token 'sign the best player of the World Cup'. I don't think he'll be sold this summer though.
